About Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo
Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo – Australia’s #1 Buffalo Lawn
Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo is Australia’s most popular lawn variety, trusted by more than 100,000 Aussie homes for its durability, versatility, and stunning year-round appearance. With its broad, soft leaves and vibrant green colour, this premium buffalo grass delivers both comfort and resilience, making it ideal for family backyards, schools, and landscaping projects.
One of the standout features is its excellent shade tolerance. Unlike many other grasses that struggle without full sun, Sir Walter thrives in both sunny and partially shaded conditions, making it suitable for yards with trees, fences, or shaded areas around the home.
This variety is also designed to withstand Australia’s tough climate. It is highly drought tolerant, needing less water once established, and performs well in a wide range of soil types. Its ability to handle wear and tear makes it perfect for active families with kids and pets, maintaining its lush look even under heavy use.
It is also incredibly low maintenance. With self-repairing growth, it recovers quickly from damage, while its dense growth habit suppresses weeds naturally. Resistant to common pests and diseases, this lawn variety reduces the need for chemical treatments, making it a safe and sustainable choice.
For those looking for a beautiful, hardy, and easy-to-care-for lawn, Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo remains the benchmark. Whether you want a soft, family-friendly lawn or a high-performance turf for your outdoor space, Sir Walter delivers proven results and lasting value.
